Branding Yourself As The Expert
This is the eighteenth article in a series of Target Marketing ideas that I hope will help you to think differently and set yourself apart from your competition.
When contacting potential clients for your target marketing program it may be helpful if you use a logo for both your stationary and business cards. For example, if you are going to target flower shops you might want to use something like this in the corner of your letterhead or business card:
The prospect is more likely to focus on something that is of interest to him, and it gives the appearance that you do specialize in his business. Somehow, you must set yourself apart from all of the other agents that are attempting to write that same account.
Several of the agents that I currently coach are using this method and it is working. One reason is that it makes the agent feel that he is targeting that industry, and they have something to show the moment they hand their business card to the prospect.
