• The Reason And Purpose Of This Service
  It’s an unfortunate fact of life that the insurance industry has too many producers that fail.  The reason they fail is simply that agency owners do not have the time nor the inclination to show them how to succeed.  In addition, agency owners do not REQUIRE success!  Agency owners are busy with their own books of business, meeting with marketing representatives, meeting with staff and various other tasks that prevent them from monitoring what their producers are really doing during any given day.   Producers are hired, shown to their desk, introduced to the staff and told to cold call on as many businesses as possible.  Little or no direction is given to the producer, and within a couple of months they are frustrated and failing.  The agency principal becomes convinced that they hired the wrong person for the job, although we all know that’s not what really happened. 
  
  
• The Solution
  The solution to this problem is active sales management.  Setting goals for producer activity and monitoring the results is the key to the success of any producer.  If the monitoring cannot be done within the agency then another solution must be found or failure is assured.   I believe that my 40 years of experience and your desire to have a successful producer is the solution to this problem.
  
  
• The Service
  I will work with the producer to develop a marketing plan and see to it that they are working to achieve these goals. Producers will be required to report to me (in writing) with a copy to you of the progress they are making, or why they failed to complete an assignment.  Production is the only excuse that I will accept as a reason that something did not get done in a timely manner.  “I was busy” is not an excuse.  In addition I will lead them in a direction of developing a target marketing program as well as assisting them with other lead generation.  I will notify you when I feel you should joint call with them.
  
  
• The Cost
